    Daily Itinerary

    DAY 1 ARRIVE IN BARCELONA
Welcome to Barcelona, the Catalonian capital that famously dances to its own creative and cultural rhythm from gourmet food to unique artistic flavors.
Upon arrival, meet with your guide as they assist you with direct transfer from the Barcelona Airport to your hotel.
This evening, enjoy a guided tapas and wine tour through the charming neighborhoods of the Gothic Quarter and El Born. Spend a delightful four hours tasting a variety of delicious tapas and regional wines while exploring some of Barcelona’s most iconic and atmospheric areas. The tour includes visits to three locally beloved restaurants, each offering its own unique flair and culinary traditions.
Accompanied by an expert local guide, you'll sample a selection of traditional Spanish small plates, including northern-style pinchos, Catalan specialties, and local desserts—each thoughtfully paired with regional wines and cava. Along the way, your guide will share stories and insights into the history, culture, and lifestyle of Barcelona.
This experience is a must for food lovers and a perfect way to immerse yourself in local flavors and traditions.

    DAY 2 SIGHTSEEING IN BARCELONA
Begin your day exploring the upper area of Barcelona with a visit to Montjuïc, where you'll take in panoramic views overlooking Plaça d’Espanya. Continue down to the heart of the city for a leisurely stroll along the famous Las Ramblas, soaking in the energy and atmosphere of this iconic boulevard.
Then, we will visit the Sagrada Família, Antoni Gaudi’s masterpiece and the ultimate symbol of Barcelona. Here you will learn about the history and its importance with your local guide. Be amazed to see its extraordinary interior, inspired by natural motifs and incredibly rich in symbolism. Absorb the beauty and details of the architectural and spiritual fusion. Tour the outside of the temple and discover for yourself why it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the afternoon, unwind with a regular sunset cruise, offering a relaxing perspective of Barcelona’s stunning coastline as the sun dips below the horizon.

DAY 3 GAUDI, FOOD & DANCE

This morning begins with an inspiring journey into the world of Antoni Gaudí, whose architectural masterpieces have come to define the spirit of Barcelona. Your first stop is the whimsical Park Güell, one of Gaudí’s most iconic creations. As you explore this vibrant city garden, your guide will share the story behind its design and highlight some of Gaudí’s most imaginative structures and mosaics that blend nature, color, and architecture.
Next, continue to the heart of the city for an interior visit to Casa Batlló, Gaudí’s fantastical, modernist residence. During your hour-long visit, you'll uncover the building’s rich symbolism, flowing forms, and vibrant stained glass that make it one of the most visited landmarks in Barcelona.
After the tour, dive into the flavors of Spain with a hands-on cooking class led by a professional chef in a private gastronomic studio. You’ll prepare a full Spanish menu—complete with tapas, paella, and a traditional dessert—while learning about regional ingredients and techniques. Wine, beer, and soft drinks are included, and you’ll finish by sitting down to enjoy the meal you’ve created with fellow participants. Recipes will be sent to you afterward so you can recreate the experience at home. This fun, interactive session is designed to bring everyone together under the guidance of an expert chef.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the passionate world of flamenco with a lively flamenco dance workshop. Led by a professional dancer, you’ll learn about the history and cultural significance of this expressive art form before being introduced to basic flamenco movements, rhythm patterns, and hand clapping techniques (palmas). Whether you're stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or simply looking to appreciate this powerful tradition more deeply, the workshop offers an unforgettable and energetic taste of one of Spain’s most iconic performance styles.

    DAY 4 MONTSERRAT EXCURSION
After breakfast, we travel southwest of Barcelona to Montserrat. This rocky mountain is considered the most significant and important mountain of Catalonia. The etymology of Montserrat comes from Catalan Mont (mountain) and serrat (serrated). The mountain receives its name for its peculiar morphology. In 1987 Montserrat was declared a Natural Park to ensure its conservation. The highest peak is called Sant Jeroni (Saint Jerome) and stands at 1,236 meters above sea level.
Legend has it that the importance of this mountain is due to the miraculous appearance of the Madonna and Child in one of the caves. This cave received the name Santa Cova (The Saint Cave). To this day the wood carving of the Madonna and Child are kept in the Church of the monastery (tickets included). This image of the Madonna is popularly known as La Moreneta (The Black Madonna) for its dark color. The color is the result of a reaction caused by varnish. La Moreneta's holiday is on April 27th.
With this legend, the mountain has been linked with spirituality. Besides the main monastery of Santa Maria de Montserrat, there is a great number of small churches and chapels, some of them abandoned. The main monastery stands at 720 meters above sea level. Nowadays there is a community of 80 monks that live there and follow the rule of Saint Benedict.
During the first part of the tour you will enjoy an introduction to the history of the monastery. Once the guided tour has ended, you will have free time to enjoy the fabulous landscape by yourself, to visit the local food market, to visit the audiovisual exhibition and to taste some typical liqueurs.
Once we have seen every corner of this incredible place, we return to our hotel.
Enjoy a farewell dinner (excludes drinks) at a trendy local restaurant.

    DAY 5 DEPARTURE

The group is at leisure until the direct transfer from the hotel to the Barcelona International Airport for the group’s return flight home.
